Allen Scott Wiseman, 58 of Hinton, WV passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Bowers Hospice in Beckley, WV.

Born on May 3, 1966 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Charles "Bud" and Margaret Carden Wiseman.

Allen graduated from Hinton High School in 1985. He enjoyed going for drives, playing golf, and watching sports but his greatest joy was fellowshipping at the Family and Friends Food Bank in Hinton.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wiseman and two sisters, Patty and Sarah Wiseman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his aunts, Pearl Wiseman Young of Milton, WV and Mary Grace Skidmore of Covington, VA; uncle, Allen R. Carden of Floyd, VA; special cousin, Nick Willey of Hinton, WV; special friend, Michael Montgomery of Hinton, WV; several cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating.  Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until the time of the service on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Wiseman Family Cemetery on Zion Mountain in Hinton, WV.
