Anna Lisa Carr, age 56, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Anna was born on June 6, 1967 in Hinton, WV to the late Paul and Daisy Martin Tate.

She attended Lifeline Church and was a homemaker.  Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hobert, James, and Jack Martin and six sisters, Margaret, Louella, and Sharon Tate, Connie Bynog, Linda Vest, and Evelyn Young.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Tracey Tate of Hinton, WV, Mysti Whelan of Bluefield, WV, Erin Williams of Roanoke, VA,  Ashley Whelan of Ballard, WV, and Amy Whelan of Hinton, WV; brothers Paul Tate, Jr. of Beckley, WV and Woodrow Meeks of Hinton, WV; sister Alice Fleshman of Lewisburg, WV; and 10 grandchildren.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home.  A private ceremony celebrating her life will be held by her family at a later date.
