Anna June Wood, 89, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, formerly of Hinton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at O'Neill Healthcare.

Born on July 5, 1934 in Hix, WV, she was the daughter of the late Otis Clark and Gracie Ellen Fox Reed.

In her younger years, Anna was employed in computer technology.  She worked with computers back when they took up an entire room.  She attended River Church of God in North Ridgeville, Ohio.  Anna was a talented seamstress and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.  She cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Paul Wood; two sons, Ronald and Chester Bennett; five brothers, Alvin, Owen, Bob, Jesse, and Grover Reed; two sisters, Lyda Plumley and Ruth Richmond.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Jewell Thompson of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Lois Kincaid of Grafton, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Hix, WV with Pastor Ronald Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the O'Bryan Family Cemetery at Hix.  Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.  Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
