It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the passing of Ashleigh Jean Bailey, 39 of Hinton, who was tragically taken from us on Sunday August 17, 2025 from injuries received in an accident.

Ashleigh was born November 9, 1985 in Beckley, WV a daughter of the late Terry and Deborah Parry Bailey.

Ashleigh was a light to all who knew her. She was a 2004 graduate of Summers County High School and was employed with Conduent Corporation.  She had been with Conduent for the past 8 years. Ashleigh had many hobbies, riding motorcycles, being on the river and kayaking. She loved the outdoors and especially loved going to the beach. Recently she became an avid cook and loved experimenting with new dishes. Ashleigh was an animal lover and was mommy to her beloved canines, Charlie and Jax and felines, Atticus and Leia. Her memory will be cherished by her family forever.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dora Rose Bailey and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Jean Parry.

Survivors include her loving husband of 5 years, Larry L. Bailey, Jr.; three brothers, Parry Bailey and wife Megan of Hinton, Michael Bailey of Oak Hill, WV and Tim Bailey of Maple Fork, WV; one sister, Terri Lynn Bailey of Scarbro, WV; nieces, Kyanna, Aubreigh, Willow, Kayla and Kim Bailey; nephews, Ryan, Gavyn, Austin and Derek Bailey and Devin, Damon and Dylan Bannister; several very dear friends of Ashleigh's also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday August 22, 2025 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
