Barbara Ann Kitchen, 68 of Hinton, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Sunday October 13, 2019 at Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.

Born November 21, 1950 in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elsie E. Skrlj Kitchen.

Barbara was a former employee of Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation and a member of Little Wolf Creek Baptist Church at Buck.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Romanello; one brother, Paul Kitchen and one sister, Jo Ann Kitchen.

Survivors include her former husband, Ralph Romanello; three sons, Adam Romanello of Marlinton, WV, and Eric and Ralph Romanello, Jr., both of Hinton. One daughter, Gina Marie Romanello of Lewisburg. Four sisters, Nadene Johnson, Missy Mitter, Edna Klimak and Renee Chappell, all of Ohio. Six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Also, special friends, Cindy Gill, Denise Stracner and Carolyn Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday  October 19, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Eddie Harris officiating. . Friends may call from 12:00 noon until services time Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 100 Park Ave. Hinton, WV 25951 to help defray costs of the services.
