Basil Webster Teabo, 47 of Hinton, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022.

Born August 8, 1974 in Hinton, he was the son of Nadine Ward Teabo of Lewisburg, WV and the late Omer Teabo.

Basil was a 1993 graduate of Hinton High School and was formerly employed by Asplundh Tree Company. He was also a handyman and carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Basil would give the shirt off his back or help anyone he could. He was a lifelong resident of Hinton.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Mills on May 6, 2021.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Jason Edward Teabo and wife Regina of Hinton; nephews, Jason Jr., Joey, Gabriel and Ryker Teabo, all of Hinton; nieces, Jayden Bragg of Hinton and Stephanie Teabo, both of Hinton; uncle, Richard Ward and wife Cindy of Kinsman, OH; aunts, Emma, Tammy and Wanda of Hinton; numerous cousins and friends also survive.

Services to celebrate Basil's life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday June 26, 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton.
