Berthena May Adkins, 90, of Hinton, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Lindside Healthcare Center.

Born on July 1, 1935 in Meadow Creek, Berthena was the daughter of the late James and Urcell Adkins.

She was a wonderful homemaker and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Being with her family brought her joy and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Adkins; one son, Douglas Adkins; daughter, Regina Green; two brothers, James and Charles Adkins.

Berthena is survived by one son, Billy Adkins of Hinton.  She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Service.
