Betty Ruth Frazier, 74 of Talcott passed away peacefully after fighting a long battle with cancer on Saturday October 28, 2017 at her home.

She was the true definition of a fighter.

Born January 6, 1943 in Alderson, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Zula Wilson Jackson.

Betty lived life to the fullest, with a beautiful smile and a love for all that knew her. She was a graduate of Union High School and was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Broad Run Baptist Church at Wolf Creek and enjoyed flower gardening, attending yard sales, but most importantly, she loved being a mother and grandmother.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Walter Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, David Frazier. Two sons, Jeffrey Shannon Frazier and Jimmy David Frazier and wife Ruth. One daughter, Sheila Ann Copeland and husband Kurt. Three grandchildren, Rebecca Beaner and husband Bernie, Courtney Copeland and Carter Copeland. Two great grandchildren, Jackson and Jacob Beaner. Two brothers, Jim Jackson and wife Donna and Buck Jackson and wife Millie. Three sisters, Marie Comer, Penny O'Brien and husband Pat and Dreama Carter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Oak Grove Methodist Church at Ballengee with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be; Jim and Jeff Frazier, Steve Lucas, Kurt and Carter Copeland and Doug Sigman.
