Betty Ann Meadows, 89 of Hinton, died Friday December 2, 2016 at her home following a brief illness.

Born November 5, 1927 at Flat Top, WV she was the daughter of the late Willard and Cedella Farley.

Ms. Meadows was a former nurse at the Hinton Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hinton. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Meadows.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Meadows & wife Teresa of Memphis, TN and Jack Meadows & wife Angelia of True, WV. Two daughters, Anita Cheves of Deland, FL and Terri Leitch & husband Mark of Las Vegas, NV.  Ten grandchildren; Brandon, Ryan, Aaron, John, Tyler, Cordell and John Meadows, Sabrina Johns, Ron Cheves and Sarah Leitch. Ten great grandchildren. One brother, Arthur Farley. Three sisters, Jean Hartley of Interprise, AL, Vella Farley of White Oak, WV and Jo Shatley of Wilmington, DE.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 10, 2016 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt and Betty's son, Pastor Jack Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 6 utnil 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
