Billy Todd Yancey, 51 of Elk Knob, passed away suddenly Wednesday July 8, 2020 at his home.

Born November 15, 1968 in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was the son of Danny and Flora Yancey Richmond of Elk Knob.

Billy was a cook for several food service establishments and was of the Baptist faith. He loved music and especially loved his dogs. He will be missed by his entire family as well as his friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Tracie Cales.

Besides his parents, survivors include his loving wife, Jacqueline Ledford Yancey; 3 step-daughters, Rebecca Marie Golder of Vinton, VA and Regina Lee Bowles and Cindy Rice, both of Salem, VA; 4 step-grandchildren, Derek and Kayla Bowles and Halee and Jacob Rice.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home and a memorial will be held for Billy at a later date.
