Blaine Arden Adkins, 60 of Athens, WV passed away Thursday November 17, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital following a short illness.

Born October 11, 1962 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Buster and Kathleen Adkins.

Blaine was a construction laborer. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Gill Adkins; one son, Blaine Adkins, Jr. and a daughter, Susan Gill of Pipestem;  three sisters, Kathy Rutherford and husband DeWayne of Hinton, Letha Adkins of Princeton and Martha Reed of Hinton. One granddaughter, Tessa May of Chicago.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the Adkins Cemetery in Hinton with Pastor Roy Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pivont Funeral Home.
