Bobby Harold Mills, Sr., age 66, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 following a short illness.

Born in Elk Knob, WV on March 29, 1959, he was the son of Jean Wheeler Mills  of Clayton and the late Kelly Ray Mills.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Bobby was a familiar face on the open road for many years as a self-employed truck driver.  Later in life, he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating his own sawmill.  When he wasn't behind the wheel of his truck or running the mill, Bobby could often be found enjoying his passions: hunting, fishing, and the simple, satisfying work of cutting firewood.  He was a lifelong resident of Summers County and of the Baptist faith. His quiet strength, dependable nature, and deep love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.

Besides his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Ray Mills and two sisters, Connie Richmond and Patsy Boone.

Left to cherish Bobby's memory are his mother, Jean Mills; one son, Bobby Mills, Jr. and girlfriend Amber of Clayton; daughter, Kellie Mills and girlfriend Bethany Bittinger of Clayton; two sisters, Carolyn Williams and husband Larry of Clayton and Lisa Mills of Hilldale, WV; several nieces and nephews along with his beloved fido, Howdy, also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery at Clayton.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
