Bonnie Merle Bragg, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Southwest Christian Care surrounded by family. Bonnie was born on August 9, 1940 in McKenzie, AL to the late George Lewis Coleman and Alline Black Coleman.

Along with her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her three brothers. She is survived by her husband of 58 years John Edward Bragg; children, Sonya Bragg, Angela Bragg, Holly Capp and her husband Jac; grandchildren, Paul, Jessica, Lauren, Abbey, Ben, Emma, Justin, Isaiah, Kristen, Jack, Hannah and two great grandchildren, Caroline and Jacob.

The funeral service celebrating Bonnie's life is Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the old sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Newnan, 15 West Washington Street, in Newnan. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. Additional Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday February 15, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Pivont Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the funeral service in Hinton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bonnie's name to Turin Baptist Church, 29 Church Street, Turin, GA 30289.
