Ms. Bonnie Lou Davis of Daniels passed away Tuesday evening, January 24, 2017.

Born to Virgil Blanton and Georgia Miller Wickline in Zenith, WV, Ms. Davis was the second-youngest of nine siblings. She was a dedicated mother to three daughters and sons-in-law, David and Sandra Thomas of Charleston, WV, Steve and Tresa Davis-Weir of Charleston, WV, and Rudy and Cynthia King of Concord, NC, and a loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Frank Thomas (27), Wells King (22), and Crandall King (14).

She loved and supported her many neighbors and fellow West Virginians and served as an active member of Northgate Baptist Church. Yet for all the roles she assumed in our community, in her family, and in the lives of her dear friends, she will perhaps best be remembered for her stalwart Christian faith and the abiding, unselfish love she had for others. She was a model of perseverance and Christian service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, Leonard, Elvin, Newman, Conley, and Alfred Wickline, and her two sisters, Golda "Dot" Williams and Pauline Rigg. She is survived by her brother, Frank Wickline and his wife, Ona, of Greenville and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, at Northgate Baptist Church in Beckley with Rev. Craig Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery in Greenville. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the church.
