Bonnie Marie Lilly, 92 of Forest Hill died Wednesday May 19, 2021 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Hilldale following an extended illness.

Born February 9, 1929 at Flat Top, WV she was the daughter of the late Minor and Cora Pitzer Hodge.

Bonnie was a former cook and custodian for the Summers County Board of Education, having worked at Forest Hill school. She enjoyed gardening and canning especially enjoyed doing for her sons. Bonnie was a member of Fairview Baptist Church at Forest Hill and was the last member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lilly; daughter-in-law, Caryll Lilly and fourteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include four sons, Larry Lilly and wife Sharon of Talcott, Andy Lilly and wife Mitzi of Bluefield, VA, Keith Lilly and wife Debbie of Peterstown, WV and Tim Lilly of Forest Hill; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 23, 2021 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Mike McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Methodist Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
