Caitlin Nicole Smith, beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend passed from this life on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 18.

Born in Beckley, WV on February 2, 2006, she was the daughter of Patricia Smith of Hilldale, WV and Micah Allen of Sandstone, WV.

Besides her mother and father, those left to cherish her precious memory include her grandparents Ernest Smith Jr. and wife Patricia Smith of Hinton, WV and Mildred Harrison of Greenville, WV; uncles, Ernest Smith III of Beckley, WV and Matthew A. Smith and wife Katelin of Princeton, WV; sister, Rikki Huffman of Forest Hill, WV; cousins, Jacob Smith and Caleb Smith.

Caitlin had a beautiful spirit filled with creativity. She was a talented artist and enjoyed reading and drawing.  Caitlin had a tender spot for animals.  She adored her family and friends and found solace in spending time with them.  They are deeply saddened by this unbearable loss, and she will remain in their hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in Smith Family Cemetery at Powleys Creek.  Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
