Carole Jeannine Turner Cantrell, born May 18, 1932 in Hinton, WV received her wings following a short stay in Bowers Hospice House.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Norvel M. and Violet Hartwell Turner; by her beloved husband of fifty-two years, Richard Leon "Nick" Cantrell; a sister, Hazel Turner Allen; an infant brother, Kenneth Turner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Richard Lee "Richie" and wife Nancy of Fayetteville, WV; daughter Karen Ann Cantrell Earehart and fiancé Pat C. Fragile of Beckley; Loving daughter-in-law Debra Shrader Cantrell of Nimitz, WV; three grandsons: Adam Cantrell and wife Kristen of Fayetteville, WV; Craig Cantrell of Nimitz, WV; Nicholas Earehart and wife Suzanne of Taylors,SC; one great-granddaughter, Aleeya Cantrell; three step-grandchildren: Jessica Stover, Fayetteville, WV; Garrett Stover and wife Christy of Morgantown, WV ; Jason Stover and wife Amber of Hinton, WV.; Eight step-great- grandchildren.

Carole was a member of the Zion Mountain United Methodist Church of Hinton.

She was a 1951 graduate of Hinton High School and attended the St. Mary's School of Nursing. Huntington, WV.

She was a Sunday School teacher at Hinton First United Methodist Church in Hinton, a homeroom mother, volunteer for the book mobile, March of Dimes Chairperson

She was a devoted homemaker, dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She loved and dedicated her life for many years to the family owned businesses of Cantrell Canoes and Rafts and Hinton Subway.

She always enjoyed life with a great sense of humor, love of fashion. good food, live music, and most of all the company of friends and family.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 17 at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton.  Rev. Mark Shrader will officiate with celebration of song provided by Pam Shrader.

Pall bearers will be family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to service time. Interment will will follow at the Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hinton First United Methodist Church of Hinton and the Bowers Hospice House of Hinton.
