Carolyn Sue Lemon Raines, 62 of Kegley, formerly of Hinton passed away Tuesday January 17, 2023 at her home following a long illness.

Born February 25, 1960 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Phillips Lemon.

Susie was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a Christian and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Donald, Gary and James Lee Lemon and two sisters, Janie Vandall and Lisa Bragg.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lemon and wife Brandy of Kegley; two daughters, Amy and Melissa Lemon, both of Charleston, WV; one brother, Roger Lemon of Mullens, WV; two sisters, Tammy Bragg and husband Calvin of Hinton and Kathy Duncan and husband Bill of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, David, Hannah, Dayton, Ashton and Hailee Lemon, Tanesha, Tia, Jaida, Tiana Lemon and Jasmine and Gabrielle Lemon; step-grandchildren, Darren Wimmer, Aleigha Matney and Austin Matney; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2023 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor C.T. Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Upland Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
