Carolyn Viola Vandall, 73 of Josephine, died Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Beckley A.R.H. Hospital following a long illness.

Born March 5, 1947 at Elton, WV she was the daughter of the late Raymond Sr. and Ruby Viola Mason Vandall.

Ms. Vandall was a former employee of several restaurants and worked in retail. She attended Hinton Church of God while living in Summers County and enjoyed crocheting, fishing and being outdoors. She was a lifelong resident of West Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Vandall and two sisters, Brenda Sams and Sharon Ferguson.

Carolyn is survived by four brothers, Ricky Vandall and wife Sherry of Elton, WV, Raymond Jr. and wife Margaret of Shady Spring and Dean and Don Vandall both of Josephine with whom she lived and were her caregivers; four sisters, Vivian England and husband Bob of Gnawbone, IN, Charlotte Wallace of Josephine, Judy Britt of Bloomington, IN and Kathy Trail of Beckley; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Sonya and special nephew, Joshua.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 7, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Rev. Bob England officiating. Burial will follow in Elton Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
