Carroll D. Presley, 85, of Hilldale passed away Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Payton Hospice House in Fairlea following a short illness. Born March 19, 1936 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Andrew G. and Ollie P. Meadows Presley.

Carroll was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army and was a retired from Vecellio and Grogan Construction Co in Beckley with 35 years service. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church at Hilldale and member of the trustee board of the church. He was a member of the United Steelworkers local 14614 and enjoyed playing Bingo with his many friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Andrew, Joseph and Melvin Presley, one sister Naomi Letcher and step-son Robert " Dink" Lane.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Judy Craft Presley.  Three sons Bobby Presley of Hilldale, Timmy Presley and wife Sandra and Denny Presley and wife Carrie all of Jumping Branch. Three step-sons Frank Lane of Hilldale, Greg Lane of Talcott and Jeff Lane of Hinton. Thirteen grandchildren, including a granddaughter that he raised Diana Cook and her 3 children, Emily, Ethan and Elizabeth who lived with him. Two brothers including his twin Harold Presley of Midland MI, and Bill Presley of Myrtle Beach, SC.  three sisters Wanda Thompson of Windale NC, Geneva Ballengee of Grassy Meadows, and Verna Allen of IL. Additional grandchildren, Bobby, Oliva, Ivy, and Waylon Presley, Robert, Ashley, Gregory Lane, Jr. and Lauren Lane, Candi Cook, Megan Connor and Tonya Easton and Tara Miller. Eight great grandchildren and two great-great grand children also survive.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 21, 2021 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Pisgah Church Cemetery at Hilldale

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday June 20, 2021 at the funeral home and Monday 1 hour prior to service time.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Smith, Doug Nichols, Bobby Presley Jr, Harold Presley, Jr., Gregory Lane, and Zack Willey.
