Chad Allen Clayton age 43 passed away Monday December 26, 2016 at home.

Chad was born on August 26, 1973 in York, PA.  He was the son of Genevieve Jones Clayton of Forest Hill and the Late Richard Allen Clayton.

Chad graduated from Hinton High School in 1993.  He was employed at Shuster Trucking Company.  He was of Baptist faith and resided most of his life in Summers County.

Chad was preceded in death by paternal grandparents. William "Sonny" and Willa Clayton; maternal grandfather Woodrow Jones; uncle Dennis Clayton; special.cousin Justin Jones.

Besides his mother, survivors include two brothers  Shane Clayton and Michael Clayton of Forest Hill; paternal grandmother Mary "Lizzy" Jones, of Forest Hill; uncles Ronald And Connie Jones of Forest Hill, Calvin and Pat Jones of Michigan, Neil and Donna Jones of Texas, Lloyd and Mary Jones of Jumping ; aunts  Joyce Hollandsworth of Forest Hill, Shelia and Jimmy Bolen of  Pennsylvania, Teresa Clayton and companion Chester Rudisill of Lowell; and several special cousins.

Funeral services will be held  2:00 PM  Sunday, January 1, 2017  at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton , WV with Rev Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in  Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Family and friends may call  12:00 PM  to 2:00 PM  Sunday  at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel

Pallbearer will be : Jason Jones, Rodney Jones, Scott Niday, Keith Niday, Pete Wheeler, Bobby Pakacki.

Family request donations be made to Hospice of Southern WV 454 Cranberry Dr ,Beckley, WV  25801 in lieu of flowers in memory of his deceased father Richard Allen Clayton.
