Connie Sue Adkins Woodrum, 73 of 402 Miller Ave. in Hinton,  passed away Tuesday August 16, 2022 at her home following a brief illness.

Born May 26, 1949 in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edra Blanche Wills Adkins.

Connie was a 1968 graduate of Hinton High School,  and was a in-home caregiver for many years in Summers County.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren,  walking her beloved dog, Jasper and playing bingo.

Besides her parents,  she was preceded in death by 3 brothers,  William P., Daniel P. and Charles, Jr. Adkins, along with one sister,  Judy Gay Lilly.

Survivors include her husband,  Tom Woodrum; two sons,  Micah & wife Crystal Woodrum of Hilldale and Brian & wife Mary Jessica Woodrum of Clarksville, TN; five brothers,  Frank Adkins & wife Margaret of True, Roger Adkins of Hinton,  Cleatis Adkins & wife Sue of Hilldale, James Adkins of Hilldale and David Adkins & wife Julie of Hilldale; three sisters,  Nella Phillips of Lerona, Carolyn Sherwood of Hilldale and Twyla Freeman of Talcott; three grandchildren,  Cayman Bowling and Micaya and Montana Woodrum.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday August 21, 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
