Crystal G. Persinger, 85, of Blue Sulphur Springs Road, Alderson passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House following an extended illness.

Born January 13, 1934 at Ohley, WV she was the daughter of the late Gart H. and Beatrice Gullett Massie. She was a retired employee of the Asea-Brown-Boveri Corp. in Lewisburg with 33 years service.

She was of the Baptist faith, loved listening to music and dancing. She also loved caring for animals.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Lee Thomas, her second husband Robert Lee Persinger. One son Herman Lee Thomas Jr and an infant daughter.

Survivors include six daughters; Dianna Craft( Danny Joe) of Alderson, Phyllis Richmond (Noah Jr.) of Jumping Branch, Vickie Orndorff (Nolan Wayne) of Asbury, Sandra Wurm (Jim) of Pence Springs, Edwina Lynn Mullins of Shady Spring and Tabatha Moore of Columbus, OH. One Son Joseph Persinger of Alderson. One sister Janavis Green of Fairlea. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 19, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton. Friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 Saturday at the funeral home.
