Cynthia Carol Rider Meadows, 51 of Hungarts Creek, died Thursday November 16, 2017 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born August 17, 1966 in Landover, Maryland, she was the daughter of Carol Lamb Rider of Hungarts Creek and the late Jerry Rider.

Cynthia was a graduate of Hinton High School and was a former sales representative in the media industry. She attended River of Life Church at Alderson and enjoyed flowers, landscaping and also enjoyed artistry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Rider.

Survivors include her mother, Carol Lamb Rider of Hungarts Creek and a sister, Debra Coleman and husband Wayne of Metter, Georgia. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 19, 2017 at River of Life Church in Alderson with Pastor Anthony Carter officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
