Darrell Edmond Morgan, of Cumming, Georgia, died at home, Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Born in Hinton, March 16, 1952, he was the son of Vivian Morgan Sims, of Hilldale, and the late Durward Morgan.

Before moving to Georgia, he attended Rollynsburg Baptist Church, at Talcott.  He was a truck driver by trade and a United States Army Veteran.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Shanklin.

In addition to his mother, his is survived by 3 sons Christopher Morgan and Jeremy Morgan, of New York, and Jason Morgan of Alderson, and one daughter Diana Morgan of New York, 2 sisters, Linda Ward of True, and Gale Keatley of Hilldale.  Two grandchildren Madison Morgan, and Aubrey Morgan also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Pivont Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery, at Hilldale.
