Darwin Wayne "Chipper" Combs, II, 53 of Shinnston, WV formerly of Hinton passed away Thursday June 2, 2022 at his home.

Born January 14, 1969 in Cherry Point, North Carolina, he was the son of Glenna Howe Prinzbach of Hinton and the late Darwin Wayne Combs.

Mr. Combs attended Hinton High School, where he played football. He was a  former factory worker and was an avid outdoorsman. He had lived most of his life in West Virginia.

Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Lee McBride.

Survivors include his mother, Glenna Prinzbach of Hinton; three daughters, Ashley Nicole Combs of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Ashley Marie Combs and Lora Marie Combs of Huntington, WV; one son, Darwin Combs, II of Kentucky; five grandchildren also survive.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home and there will be no pubic services.
