David Lowell Bennett, 57, of Sharpsburg, MD, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at the Hospice Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.

David was born May 29, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Lacy R. Bennett and Theda J. Shipe.

He worked as a carpenter and was self-employed; he was good at all he did.

His enjoyment was riding his Harley, spending time with his family, and raising his grandson, Dominic, whom was the center of his world. David was Ride or Die, one of the loyalist!

He is survived by his finance, Hope Elizabeth Twigg; one son, David Lee Bennett; one step-son, Dakota Lucian Johns; one step-daughter, Brittinei Elica Vance; two grandsons, Dominic Leonard Vance and Asher Lee Bennett; one sister, Dana Bennett; and one brother, Lacy Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Ray Bennett; and his sister, DeDe Jo Bennett.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2 to 4pm.   A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday November 13, 2019 at the King Cemetery at Sandstone with Pastor Otis Cales officiating. A procession will leave Pivont Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday for those wishing to attend the graveside.
