David Scott Bryson, 64 of Hinton, passed away Sunday October 30, 2022 at his home following a long illness.

Born October 11, 1958 in Hinton, he was the son of Harry L. Bryson of Douglasville, GA and the late Kay Pivont Bryson Fleshman.

Scott was a former construction worker in Kansas and North Carolina. He was a Christian and helped many residents with yard maintenance and general maintenance. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his father, Harry L. Bryson and wife Sharon of Douglasville, GA; one son, Tim Bryson of Kansas City, KS; two daughters, Melody Bryson Nutt and husband Shane of Kansas City, KS and Kathrine Bryson of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Gregory Bryson of Dalton, GA; two sisters, Rebecca Bragg of Wayside and Cindy Liles and husband Rodney of Charleston, SC; step-daughter, Shelly Graham of Hinton; several grandchildren and cousins also survive.

A graveside service will be held at Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton at a future date to be announced.
