Deborah Joan Ashley, 71 of Greenville passed away Tuesday July 14, 2020 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.

Born February 2, 1949 in West Harford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Richard and Marianna Ditmore Fenn.

Deborah was retired from Beckley A.R.H. Hospital as a registered nurse. She enjoyed flower gardening, spending time with her family, classical music and the theatre. Deborah was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, James Ashley; two daughters, Pamela Josephine Ashley of Alderson and Jennifer Lynn Lowry of Talcott; one sister, Kathy Stogner of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, James R. Ashley, Deborah M. Bower and Ashley Lowry; seven great grandchildren, James E. and Jalena Ashley and Genevieve M., Evelyn A., Conor, Marceline and Scarlett Bower.

Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday July 31, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Barbara Romfo MDiv. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Social distancing measures will be followed per CDC recommendations and visitors are encouraged to wear masks.
