Dennis Lee Hatcher, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2025 following a short illness.

Born on July 8, 1953, he was the son of the late Webster Hatcher and Nita Fitzpatrick Hatcher Walker.

Dennis, affectionately known as "Denny", was a graduate of Hinton High School and worked in Housekeeping at Pipestem State Park.  He was frequently seen at sporting events supporting his beloved Bobcats and especially loved football season and the Friday night lights at Garten Stadium.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Hatcher.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Uncle Herb Fitzpatrick of Falls Church, VA and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton, WV with Pastor Jack Ward officiating.  Friends may visit from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton on Wednesday.
