Donald Kenneth Meador 79 of Hinton went to be with the Lord Saturday , May 1, 2021 from a sudden illness.  Born April 29, 1942 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Cecil & Mary Etta Cook Meador of Hinton.

He started working for Jimmy's TV in Hinton in 1963. He then worked for Helicon, Charter Communications & Suddenlink Communications until his retirement in 2002.

He was owner & operator of Meador Rentals. He enjoyed  working on his houses as long as health permitted & talking with his buddies for hours. He loved spending time with his boys and grandchildren. Donald was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Hinton.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by tthree brothers Bobby Meador, Fred Meador, & Ernest Meador, three sisters Garnet Cox, Betty Fox & infant sister Goldie.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patricia Cox Meador; three sons Jeff & wife Christy of Shady Spring. Don and wife Regina & Bobby & companion Priscilla, step son Steven & wife Shelda all of Hinton; eight granddaughters Chiana, Valerie, Emily, Morgan, Bella, Angelina, Alexandra & Lily; two grandsons Evan & Andrew; one Sister Millie Woolridge of Waynesville, Ohio & one brother William "Toy" Meador & wife Orlene of Lebanon, OH. A host of Neices & Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 5, 2021 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor John Offenberger officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery at Powleys Creek. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Cooper, Jr, Steven "Scooby" Adkins, Jr, Kenny Meadows, Joey Smith, Jared Meadows , Brady Petry, JP Wills, Logan Smith , Luke Smith.
