Donna Sue Ankrom, age 57, of Alderson, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 26, 2026, in her home.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, on February 5, 1969, to Alice Richmond Clark and the late Reginald Clark.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and caregiver who poured her heart into her family. She was an exceptionally loving and excellent caregiver to her son, Cody.

Donna had a deep love for nature and a passion for crafting. She found immense joy in the company of her animals, including her beloved dogs and cats, as well as her pet snake, Nagini—a nod to her love for Harry Potter, as she was an avid fan of the series. Donna built deep, meaningful connections throughout her life and was fiercely loved by all of the friends and family she knew online, where her warmth and presence touched many hearts. Her dedication, kindness, and vibrant interests will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Ankrom; her two sons, Cody Chapman and Jack Michael Smith; her mother, Alice Clark; and her Uncle Johnny and Aunt Cathy Richmond.

The family plans to celebrate her life in a private service.
