Donna Ann Meadows, 63 of Hinton, passed away Thursday April 4, 2019 at Summers Nursing and Rehab Center at Hilldale following a long illness.

Born April 7, 1955 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary Williams Jackson.

Donna was a former employee of the Hinton Dairy Queen and also Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Hinton and enjoyed crafting candles and making jewelry. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Verda K., Paula, Kathy and Tamara Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David Meadows; two sons, Bruce Jackson, Sr. of Mason, WV and Gregory Meadows of Hinton; one daughter, Jessica McGuire of Hinton; step-son, Sparky Cash of Campellsville, KY; two brothers, Henry Jackson, Jr. and Douglas Jackson, both of Hinton; sister, Debra Jackson of Randlestown, MD; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday April 8, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton. Cremation will follow the visitation, with private interment in the Meadows Family Cemetery on New River Road, Hinton.

The family wished to extend their deepest gratitude to Summers Nursing and Rehab Center and Alisa Lane for the care and compassion shown to Donna during her illness.
