Elizabeth Constance Ballengee, 83 of Hinton passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Springfield Care Center at Lindside following a long illness.

Born March 6, 1935 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Harvey C. and Beatrice K. Bland Ballengee.

Miss Ballengee was a graduate of Hinton High School and was a lifelong resident of the Hinton community. She was a member of Miller Memorial Methodist Church in Bellepoint.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a brother, William H. "Bill" Ballengee of Omaha, NE. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 19, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastors Terry Kornegay and Gary Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
