Elizabeth Lorene Huffman, 89 of 207 7th Ave. Hinton died peacefully on Friday February 19, 2016 at her home.

Born April 4, 1926 in Alderson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alex Taylor and Susan Amanda Ballengee Arbaugh.

Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker and attended Riverview Chapel and Central Baptist Churches, both in Hinton. She was a former telephone operator in Hinton and a former clerk for Davis Department Store and Cato's, both in Hinton. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. "Bud" Huffman, four brothers, Robert, Marion, Paul and Alex, Jr. Arbaugh and one sister, Clarabelle Anderson.

Mrs. Huffman is survived by a son, Frederick R. Huffman of Hinton, two grandchildren, Polly Hill and husband Sam of Murfressboro, TN and Darol Huffman and wife Jessica of Wilmington, NC, two great grandchildren, Sydney Hill and Evan Huffman and one brother, Clarence Arbaugh of Freemont, NE and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday February 23, 2016 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. There will be a private viewing for family at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Darol Huffman, Tim O'Farrell, Jim Costa, Tommy Johnson, Tom Stacklin and Lee Pivont.

Honorary pallbearers will be; H.F. Cooper, Luther Wills, Glen Vallandingham, Tom Coffman, Joe Jackson, Jeff Harper, Jim Noel, Ronnie Lilly, Richard Lilly, Ray Boone and Robin Crawford.
