Emma Jane Manning, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at her home in Meadow Bridge.

Born in Lockbridge, WV on July 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Lockridge L.  and Violet Hicks Gwinn.

Emma worked as a Bank Teller for several years and was a wonderful homemaker.  Everyone always felt welcome when walking through her doors and never left hungry.  She kept an inviting and clean home and enjoyed cooking, quilting, and genealogy.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Randolph Manning; sisters Drema Gwinn and Glenna Williams; brothers, Kyle Gwinn, Lockridge L. Gwinn, Jr., Gary Gwinn, Arlen Gwinn, Dale Gwinn, and infant brothers, Carroll and Earl Gwinn.

Those left to cherish her precious memory include her sons, Kenny Manning (Jennifer) of Lockbridge, WV and Kevin Manning (Jennifer) of Drouin, AUS; daughter, Tina Manning of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 expectant great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Aaron Trigg and Jason Williams officiating.  Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until time of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Gwinn Cemetery on Lockbridge Road in Meadow Bridge, WV.
