Emmett Arnold Adkins, 85 of Hinton passed away Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Main Street Care following a long illness.

Born February 7, 1934 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Arnold and Goldie Adkins.

Emmett was a lifelong resident of Hinton and was of the Protestant faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Adkins; one son, Bobby Jack Adkins and one brother, Bobby Adkins. Two sons-in-law, Phillip Ward and Emory Kincaid.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandy Kincaid of Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 5, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
