Obituary

Frank Erwin Curry, 91 of Hinton, died Friday March 2, 2018 at Meadow Garden Nursing Home in Rainelle following a long illness.

Born February 28, 1927 in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late Francis Edwin Joseph and Madeline Murbach Curry.

Mr. Curry was disabled from the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hinton as long as his health permitted.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Honaker Curry in 2000. Also preceded by two brothers, Joseph and Robert Curry.

Survivors include two brothers-in-law, David Honaker and wife Mary Ellen of Hinton and Robert Honaker and wife Phyllis of Twinsburg, OH. Two sisters-in-law, Eva McBride Curry of Tallahassee, FL and Betty Grimmett of Franklin, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 8, 2018 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Deacon Peter Minogue officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
