Mrs. Frankie Sue Rollins Stanley, 79, of Stuart VA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 after a long-suffering battle with COPD and metastatic cancer.

Born on August 22, 1945 in Greer, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jordan and Beatrice Wilson Rollins.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Morehead United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC.  Frankie was a caregiver for her community and sat with the elderly. Her simple enjoyments were reading, taking pictures, taking rides in the country, and visiting family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry D. Stanley, Jr., one daughter, Angela Stanley Long, two brothers, Paul and Carol Rollins and two sisters, Pat Lester and Martha Cansler.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry Dawson Stanley, Sr. and daughter, Effran Stanley Smith (Sam) of Stuart, VA; two grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Smith Cemetery on Tug Creek Road in Hinton, WV.  Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
