George Denzil Allen, age 81, of Loveland Ohio, died at his home on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born on July 20, 1942, in Hinton, WV to the late George and Ethel Turner Allen.

George had been a resident of Loveland, Ohio since 1983 and was a retired electrical manufacturing supervisor for Sumco Corporation in Cincinnati, OH. He attended Faith Evangelical Church in Loveland. George enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, George was recently preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years on August 11, 2023, and a sister, Mary Frances Huffman.

Survivors include his three sons, Bary Allen of Cincinnati, OH, Gary Allen (Yolanda) of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Gregory Allen of Jacksonville, FL., two brothers, John P. Allen (Julia) of True, WV and Donald Allen of Stuarts Draft, VA, one sister, Audrey Ciriaco (Luis) of Cincinnati, OH, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Pivont Funeral Chapel in Hinton, WV with Pastor Dallas Peyton officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the funeral home. The burial will follow at the Huffman Cemetery at Buck, WV.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
