Gerald L. "Gerry" Mullins, 82, of Hinton, died on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Main Street Care, Hinton, following a long illness.

Born December 30, 1939, in Hinton, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Pauline Wood Mullins.

He graduated from Hinton High School in 1958, and was honorably discharged from the U. S. Air Force in 1960.  He received a Bachelor of Art degree from Concord College in 1966, and an Masters of Art degree from Kent State University, in 1972.  He taught Art at Kent State for a number of years.

Gerry was a gifted artist who combine his lifelong interest in paleontology with his artistic ability to produce acclaimed depictions of prehistoric life.  He will be remembered by many for his kind nature and sense of humor.

Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Paula Mullins Blevins.

Those left to cherish his memory are many friends, and care givers Main Street Care.

At his request, his body will be cremated, and there will be no service.
