Gladys Ethel "Penny" Fitzpatrick, 80 of Jumping Branch, passed away Thursday December 15, 2022 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill following a long illness.

Born January 28, 1942 at Pear, WV she was the daughter of the late Roscoe C. and Martha M. Jarvise Plumley.

Penny attended Richmond District High School at Abraham and was a retired cook for Kirks Restaurant and Dairy Queen both in Hinton. She was a member of Wesleyan Chapel in Beckley and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Fitzpatrick; one son, Dale Fitzpatrick; one sister, Gloria Glover and one brother, Barry Plumley.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Fitzpatrick of Daniels, WV; one brother, Randy Plumley and wife Jo Ann of Crab Orchard, WV and one sister, Sharon Napier and husband John of Lewisburg, WV; two grandchildren, David Bragg of Beaver and Jayme Quintanilla and husband Aaron of White Bluff, TN; three great grandchildren, Audrey Hubbard and companion Trent Reed, Thaddeus Bragg and Caitlyn Quintanilla; two great, great grandchildren, Declan and Evalina Reed; brother-in-law, Dickie Glover of White Sulphur Springs, WV and a sister-in-law, Mary Mann and husband Frank of Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 20, 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Dr. Charles Bright and John Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; John Mann, Jeremy Cook, Nickie Glover, Ryan Lockhart, Johnny Petrey, Darrell Tincher, Mike Miller and Dale Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be; David Moten, Joshua Plumley and Marvin Plumley.
