Guy Edward Jones passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 74.

Born on January 22, 1950 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of the late Wilber Elwood Jones and Virginia Lee Scott Jones.

Guy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps serving his country in Vietnam.  He enjoyed hunting and watching football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. But the Corps was what he was most passionate about.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his close friends, David and Jessica Bower and their children, Hunter and Emma.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
