Helen Leola Mock, 99 of Hilldale, went to be with the Lord at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness on Tuesday December 6, 2022.

Born November 8, 1923 at Upland, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John V. Sr. and Eva P. Abbott Grimmett.

Helen was a member of Upland Baptist Church. She and her late husband Robert ministered through Christian music to numerous churches for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mock, three brothers, John V. Grimmett, Jr., Robert Grimmett and William Grimmett and four sisters, Margaret Richmond, Ella Jean Martin, Ruby Wilson and Ruth Ann Stanley.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Wanda Grimmett and one brother-in-law, James E. Martin, Jr. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Many lives were touched by her loving kindness, and she will be missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday December 9, 2022 at Upland Cemetery near Hinton with Pastor Ronald Cobb officiating. There will be no visitation. Those attending the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
