Hope J. Larsen, age 91, of Hinton, WV, died on Sunday, September 10, 2023.  She was born on July 19, 1932, in Rahway, NJ to the late Willard and Ethel Greenhalgh Jennings.

Hope was the Administrative Manager for a department of Carter Wallace Company in NJ and retired in 1987.  She was a member of the choir at the First Presbyterian Church in Hinton for many years.  Hope attended Central Baptist Church in Hinton and was a member of the Service Club and a volunteer at SCARH. She enjoyed square dancing and was a talented artist and champion knitter.  Her greatest love of all was spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Hope was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Larsen; sons, Robert and Richard Larsen; daughter, Debbie Burk.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Lynne Larsen of Hinton; brother, Jim Jennings of New Jersey; sisters, Allison Rathbun of New Jersey, Barbara Sharkey of Maryland and Nancy Jennings Grommet of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Erik, Christine, Kelly, and Mindy; five great grandchildren; and special friend, Curt Messer of Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Pivont Funeral Chapel in Hinton, WV with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Friends may call from 12-2 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, NJ.
