Iris Ann Zannucci, 82 of Knoxville, TN passed away Monday Nov. 18, 2019 in West Hills Health & Rehab.

Born September 28, 1937 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Hubert C. and Nellie Wygal Maddy.

Iris graduated from Hinton High School and received a BS degree in education from Concord University. She taught school in Charleston, WV, Frederick, MD and Melrose, MA. She also worked as a realtor for Blue Ridge Properties in Knoxville, TN. Iris loved volunteer work and delivered meals-on-wheels for 34 years. She was involved in many volunteer projects and was a member of United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, H.C. Maddy, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Joe Zannucci; two sons, Paul and David; grandchildren, Hannah and Thomas Zannucci and a sister, Opal Rodes of Hinton.

Funeral services, 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 21, 2019, Pivont Funeral Chapel, Hinton, WV with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park, Hinton, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
