James Milton Brabb, 78 of Nimitz, died at 10:08 p.m. Monday May 2, 2016 at his home following a long illness.

Born March 19, 1938 in Hinton, he was the son of Myrtle Lilly Brabb of Hinton and the late Milton Brabb.

Mr. Brabb was a 1956 graduate of Hinton High School and was a retired installer for AT&T Corporation in Washington, DC and northern Virginia area. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was an avid gardener.

Besides his mother, survivors include his loving wife, Jaunita Cales Brabb; three sons, Steven Wayne Brabb and wife Pamela of Clover, SC, James David Brabb of Tampa, FL and Michael Dillon Brabb of Nimitz; one daughter, Regina Ann Culbreath and husband Tom of Tampa, FL; Two grandchildren, Micheal Brandon Brabb and Spencer Thomas Brabb.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday May 5, 2016 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
