James Ellis "Jimmy" Fuller, Jr., age 59 of Oak Hill, West Virginia passed away at J.W. Ruby Hospital in Morgantown, WV on Tuesday January 25, 2022 after several years of declining health.

He was born January 16, 1963 in Maryland to the late James Ellis Sr. and Julia Swann Fuller. He was the grandson of the late Herman E. and Algie M. Fuller of Wendell, N.C.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Julia Swann Fuller on August 25, 2007 and by his father James Ellis Fuller, Sr. on May 3, 2019. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by his younger brother, Neil Owen Fuller of Virginia Beach, VA on May 4, 2021. And by two beloved beagles, Xena and Gabby.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Willey Fuller; He is also survived by two daughters, Megan Amanda Fuller of Johnston County, N.C. and Briana Maier of Raleigh County, N.C. and his son, Drew Edward Fuller of Johnston County, N.C. and sisters, Robin (Louis) Wall of Knightdale, N.C. and Kimberly Johnson of Zebulon, N.C.; Father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Jean Willey of Hilldale, WV, along with several nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Jimmy was a former surveyor in the electrical industry. He loved sports and was an avid WVU fan and also NASCAR enthusiast. West Virginia became a place he truly loved an he loved the New River Gorge Bridge and wanted his ashes to be spread there. He was a member of Poolsville Baptist Church in Maryland where he spent the first 17 years of his life. After moving to West Virginia, Jimmy loved going on adventures with his father-in-law, Kenneth Willey. Jimmy was a former member of the Army National Guard and loved his country. He had an immense faith in God's will and was an inspiration to all who knew him.

It was Jimmy's wish to be cremated and a private ceremony will be held in March at the convenience of the family.
