James O. Stoddard, 62 of Hinton, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Born on December 28, 1962 in Hinton, WV, he was the son of the late James and Mabel Ward Stoddard.

James, affectionately known as "Bubby" by his family and friends, was a lifelong resident of the surrounding area.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  James also liked to spend some of his spare time gardening.  He will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Edwards.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Shayanne Stracener (Cameron) of Ravenswood, WV and Kristi West of Stem, NC; brother, Matthew Stoddard (Kelly Plumley), WV; sister, Kimberly Stoddard of Gastonia, NC; 7 grandchildren, niece, Kensi Plumley; great nephew, Krue Buckland also survive.

Cremation services have been provided, and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
