Obituary

Jane Kay Ratliff, 76, of Covington, Georgia, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, following a sudden illness.

Born July 24, 1944, in Hinton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Helen Marie Williams Reed.

She was a home maker and loved and enjoyed her family and her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Reed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Jerry Ratliff, a son Terry Ratliff of Covington, Georgia, a daughter, Pam Phelps (Larry) of Buford, Georgia, a brother David Reed (Ellen), of Hinton, and sister, Betty Crook (Orville) of Chesapeake, Virginia.  Four grandchildren, Crissy Lynn Floyd, Matthew Williams, Mallory Swords, and Tanner Swords, and 5 great grandchildren Travis Floyd, Sidney Dingus, Harper Jane Williams, Charlotte Williams, and Lyla Swords also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the Pivont Funeral Chapel, in Hinton, with Pastor Bobbie Rex Ratliff officiating.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday.  A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020, at Restwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be, Travis Floyd, David White, Jacob Swords, Bobbie "Buzz" Ratliff, Tanner Swords and Matthew Williams.
